Impact Now is a free two-week social entrepreneurship camp for high school students. Each morning, participants meet with business professionals to learn about marketing, negotiation, communication, finance, and public speaking. In the afternoons, participants create team-based proposals that tackle social challenges they witness in their community. At the end of the two weeks, teams present their proposals to a panel of community leaders, and the panel selects a proposal that is then implemented by the City of Asheboro. Each participant on the team that created the selected proposal receives a $1,000 prize.
