
Impact Now



Impact Now is a two-week social entrepreneurship program for Randolph County high school students. They study marketing, public speaking, negotiations, financial literacy, as well as teamwork as they work in groups to create proposals that present ways they would like to make an impact in their community. The teams present their final proposals to a panel of community leaders, and then that panel selects one they feel was the most effective at tackling its mission. The selected team members each win $1,000, and their proposal is executed in real life over the course of the following academic with a budget of $10,000.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build leadership skills
- Learn public speaking, marketing, negotiation & financial literacy, etc
- Work in teams to design a real-world solution to a local issue
- Pitch your idea to a panel of civic leaders and funders
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Two-Week Summer Session
- July 6-17, 2026 @ 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Monday thru Friday
- One team’s proposal will be implemented in the community with budget of $10,000
- $1,000 award for each member of the selected team
- Lunches are included (FREE!)

Randolph County students entering 9th–12th grade in Fall 2026 may apply (Rising Freshman through Rising Seniors)
